GOOD MORNING BLOGGERLAND!!!!!!!

Phew! It's Monday morning.
The weekend has gone. And it started on Friday for us.

We set on in the wee small hours and dropped GG and Scorpaboy off to spend the day with friends at Maitland. The friends were still in bed, actually. Then Beloved, Vegeboy and I drove to Sydney for VB's review with his paediatrician at Randwick Children's hospital at 11.30am. There was no breakfast for any of us. We ate brunch after the paed visit in the hospital cafeteria... not bad for caff-food, but it wasn't the yummy feed that we had been looking forward to in the shopping strip.

Then we headed back to to Charlestown Square via the Motorbike spare parts supplier in Artarmon. We had no street directory with us, so we did really well to find our way around Sydney with NO hiccups. It just goes to show that we've spent too much time down there lately. Medibank return a very small sum of money to us, then it was back to Maitland to take the kids to a band gig at Maitland PCYC by 5pm. We spent then evening with friends at Louth Park. It's always great to see Marie and Steve; we met in Tamworth 16 yrs ago, and as each of us has moved around (Steve is a bank manager), we've kept in touch. But the funny thing is, the kids didn't have much to do with each other, until Myspace brought them together recently. Now S.Boy and Marie's daughter, Amie, talk all the time, and share mutual friends. The kids were the reason that we got together on Friday night. Got to love them for it; Thanks kids!!!!!

We had intended to stay the night, but Beloved was called into work on Saturday,so we arrived home about 1am. While Beloved was at work, I took VB to play league at Greta on Saturday morning. I had to be there before 9am people!!!!!!! Anyway, they won a hard-fought, but fair game. I played taxi driver for the rest of the afternoon, in and out of Muswellbrook a few times over the rest of the day/night.

Sunday, ALL the boys went to P.Park to ride bikes and do boy things until.............. WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

GG and I are home alone until she catches the train home this evening.

The weather here is weird. Yesterday, I was getting dry washing off the line, and hanging out some more, when an enormous grey cloud moved in and urged me to hurry up.

And then it HAILED, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

Nothing, and then HAIL!!! And not just a little bit; A LOT!!!!!

It was 2 in the afternoon.

NOW SCROLL BACK UP AND LOOK AT HE PHOTOS, PLEASE.

Then lots of rain......... And it was quite chilly...... That pile of snowy hail at the bottom of the downpipe is still here. It's 10.30am Monday.

DOES IT ALL MAKE SENSE NOW?

Anyhoo, the sun is shining (weakly) and the baskets are overflowing, so it's back to the washing for me......

Have a good one!

LOL here it has rained so much that I have a mushroom growing off the side of my house! I feel like I live in a rain forest! I have so many frogs in the back yard I think the creek has overflowed or something!

Like being raised in my native northern Minnesota: 80 degrees F until the wind changes to the east, then down to 45F in about 30 minutes. SUmmer up there meant you left the house wearing tank tops and parkas.....

Certainly Lisa. Maybe you could help to make things happen a bit speedier. And chop 30 or 40 thousand off the price... Darren asked me to ask you if Mark would have a look at our (finished??)plans. Things seem to have gotten away on us a little bit. We may have to change a few things....

And I'd love some goss. Family can be tough some times. We're down on Sunday for FIL's surprise 80th birthday party. It will be fun, hopefully. xox
